Kenneth's erudition and enthusiasm for the Scots Leid will be greatly missed in Lallans magazine. He was first reviews editor then co-editor for many years. Although his working career had been brought to an end by ill-health, he still devoted himself to academic work and promotion of Scots as a literary vehicle. He deserved many more years, but his literary achievements will live on. A fine scholar and a kind man.
