Ern sadly passed away peacefully at home after a short illness on 2nd June 2025
aged 90 with his family by his side.

Beloved and devoted husband to Sylvia, dearly loved dad to Andrew and David,
dear father-in-law to Diane, respected brother-in-law, and uncle.
Ern was a loving, caring family man who will be greatly missed and shall live on in
our hearts forever.

A celebration of Ern’s life will be held at Grimsby Crematorium on 26th June,
at 1:30pm, casual attire by request.

Family flowers only please, however donations in lieu to Guide Dogs for the Blind,
would be very much appreciated at the service or online at
www.guidedogs.org.uk/donate-now
