MichaelFAWCETTPassed away unexpectedly on 7th November 2020 at Diana Princess of Wales Hospital, aged 59. Devoted and much loved husband to Kathryn. Father to Emma and partner Rob, Hannah & Alice, and son-in-law to Terence and partner Michelle. Much loved brother of Joan, Theresa, Elizabeth, Marion, Pat, Mary, Julian and Peter, and a loved brother-in-law, uncle & cousin. Good friend to many. A funeral mass will be held at Corpus Christi on Friday 4th December at 11am, followed by a cremation at Grimsby Crematorium at noon. Floral tributes can be sent to Cooperative Funeralcare, 55 Abbey Road, Grimsby. DN32 0HN or donations in Michael's memory can be sent to Grimsby Town Sports and Education Trust, Blundell Park, Cleethorpes, N E Lincolnshire. I saw Micks picture on the scoreboard yesterday, I had no idea he had passed away whatsoever. Great memories of away trips in the late 80's early 90's with mick on Bernard's buses and social outings. Now on one last "brewery trip" Mick. Rest in peace buddy

It was with shock and great sadness that I learnt of Mike's death. I will very much miss seeing him and our frequent chats about Grimsby Town. However, meeting him and Kathryn on their return train journey from their marvellous anniversary trip to London was a special highlight.
