Martin RobertFEATHERSMartin of Accrington, passed away peacefully in hospital on Sunday 3rd November 2019, aged 79 years. He was brought up on a farm in West End, Oswaldtwistle and was one of six children. He was a senior college lecturer in motor vehicle engineering at Burnley College and latterly went on to teach adult educational skills till retirement. Martin loved all sports and loved discussing politics with his family and friends. He was the loving husband of Norma, devoted dad of Martin, Jacqueline and Blake, dear father in law of Tracey, Paul and Fiona, treasured grandad of Rebecca, Daniel, Christopher, Jacob, Lloyd, Niamh, Georgia and Ben and great grandad of Heath and Keir, loved brother of Nelly, Mary and Margaret. Requiem Mass will be held at St.Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Accrington on Tuesday 12th November at 10.00am prior to burial at Accrington Cemetery. Family flowers only please, with donations being gratefully received for British Heart Foundation c/o Hillside Funeral Directors, 318 Burnley Road, Accrington, BB5 6HG
