Lucy, the time I got to spend with you was some of the best. Your laughter lit up the whole room & you made every day a good day. You impacted the lives of vulnerable children in such a positive way, even when you yourself had your own struggles. Love you always and miss you always, LJ xx

I was deeply saddened to hear of Lucy’s passing. She was a valued friend to me during a time in my life when I greatly needed one. Her kindness and support meant a great deal to me, particularly when one considers that she herself was a child trying to process the loss of her own mother. To offer such friendship in the midst of her own grief was an act of profound selflessness.

May she rest in peace.
