I became acquainted with Malvinn's brother Jim when I lived in Brighton between 1999 and 2003. We spent many happy hours drinking coffee together and having the odd pint in the Market Tavern. When Jim sadly passed away quite suddenly in the summer of 2001 I had some correspondence with Malvinn and she kindly sent me some photos of Jim's earlier life, a letter and photos I treasure to this day. RIP Malvinn and my dear friend Jim.

Sitting here with tears in my eyes thinking about my Auntie Malvinn I’ve realised she was probably the most influential women in my life. From when she raced down from Cleethorpes to support my Dad when Mum died & coming down to be the first to babysit my Baby girl. Malvinn was a wonderful women.Strong, kind, considerate, caring, loving, generous and an all round wonderful women. More than that she brought up 3 fantastic Daughters(on her own a lot of the time when Uncle Peter was away at sea)that I know she was very proud of. Probably lucky she didn’t have boys as they would have turned into Men🤣 Malvinn is the last of that Generation in my family but I feel she had a wonderful life & hopefully she is now with Uncle Peter. He would probably be saying “Stupid Boy pull yourself together”🤣Peter-If there is Facebook where you are I think my new Greenhouse is better than yours was🤣
Picking up on Vanessa’s howl with laughter regarding memories of Malvinn mine is whilst on a pub crawl shouting across the road to her “Malvinn your slips falling down” as she was striding down the road with it round her angles chatting to my mates she had just met🤣🤣
Wonderful women
Wonderful family
Wonderful memories

Mum, G-ma, Mama, Ma Fenners, Mal, Malvinn.

You went through life quietly but fearlessly with great strength and armed with a quick wit. Your kindness and wisdom was so appreciated by everyone who was lucky enough to come into your orbit. You were without doubt the most wonderful human being. Loved and cherished by us all. Sorely missed but never forgotten. The memories of your love and kindness, magnificent life and free spirit will stay with us forever.

Thank you for the endless unconditional love and for bestowing so much wisdom throughout my life. You where always there, even when we were so far apart, with an ear, a quiet word and a chuckle. Adored by my husband my children and my friends. You prepared me for and gave me the freedom to make a wonderful life of my own. I will love you forever and always Mum. See you in the next life. ‘Our Em’ xxx
