Jean was a wonderful and special lady who we all adored and felt lucky to know and have in our lives. She played a tremendous role in Maddy and Toby’s childhoods teaching them both piano, patiently, as well as babysitting and giving plenty of treats. This engagement and unwavering support continued into their adulthood and she was always interested in what they were doing and had achieved. We have lost a wise, caring and kind friend which has left a huge void in our lives. Even the dogs miss her! May Jean rest in peace, together with Ron, and may she play beautiful piano music through eternity. Melanie, Piers, Maddy and Toby x

Jean and Ron formed a long and lasting friendship with our parents Shirley and Dixie during their days in Singapore. Despite the distance between them when they all returned to England the friendship never ended. Even when they sadly left us one by one Jean remained our link to the memory of those Singapore days and the young parents each bringing up their four children.
Reunited with Ron and Robert, Jean will be greatly missed. May she rest in peace while her memory lives on.
With fondest memories of a lovely lady from Fiona,Sarah,Nicholas,Lynnette and Wendy (Shirley's Sister)
