Marian JessicaFISHERPassed away at home on 21 February 2021 after a long battle with cancer aged 76. Marian, a popular and well loved Newchurch girl who worked at Mullards and then with various footwear firms in the valley. She pursued her hobbies of birdwatching and photography with equal delight and loved her holidays abroad, cruising and her many visits to Scotland and Norfolk. Marian is survived by her husband Michael, son Mark and daughter in law Kathryne and two wonderful grandchildren, Emma and James who with their partners Gavin and Grace have produced great grand children, Michael, who Marian has had the pleasure of holding and knowing and Nora, who will arrive in June, sadly too late to meet her great Grandma. Marian , has left us but will be united with her beloved parents, Winifred and Fred. Our sincere thanks go to the District nurses, Rossendale Hospice and Marie Curie nurses who showed dedication in their pursuit of making Marian comfortable and for the support of the Revd.
