Sheila CarmelFLANAGANFriday 19th December 2025, Sheila passed peacefully at Queen's Hospital, Burton-on-Trent, surrounded by her loving children.
Dearly beloved wife of the late Joseph (RIP); devoted Mother to Kathleen Hamon (Steven), Seamus Flanagan and Siobhan Heywood (Andrew); adored Grandmother of Rosheen, Joseph, Ciaran and Lowen and dear Sister of Ann, Gerry, and the late June (RIP) and Richard (RIP).
Sheila will be greatly missed by her nieces, nephews, wide family circle and many, many friends.
Sheila will be reposing at Shilvocks Funeral Directors on Thursday, 15th January from 18:30 to 19:30 pm.
Father Colin Patey will preside over a Funeral Service of thanksgiving and celebration on Friday 16th January 2025 at 14:30 pm at Bretby Crematorium, Willow Chapel. Those attending the service are warmly invited to share more memories with refreshments at Oaklands Village, Hall Farm Road, Swadlincote DE11 8ND.
It is requested family flowers only please with donations in lieu to be sent to Addison's Disease Self-Help Group (ADSHG), to help bring awareness and understanding of a little known and rarely understood condition, and help patients like Sheila and their families.
