I was just thinking about you so I thought I'd send you a little message. I took the kids up to Coldstream during Civic Week and they did the torch light. It was really nice to do thing with them that I did at their age with you and grandad. I even had a wander along to Oxenrig to show them where Marie used to live and where we stayed and played. I have so many memories that include you and grandad so I speak about you to them both a lot. I often think about Otis running out to help you in when you'd come to ours. He'd toddle along the path, open the gate and take your hand to help you walk in like a little gentleman. And Myla running around, usually naked with the little pink pushchair you got her. You'd be so proud of them nana. They're amazing little people, so kind and thoughtful and very funny. I miss you both so much. Being in Coldstream I felt closer to you both in a strange way. I think because all of my memories of being there include you and grandad, even ones like grandad having to wash rotten egg out of my hair after us kids had had an egg fight and I got hit in the eye haha. I love you both lots and lots xxx

I miss you more than any words could possibly describe. There's so much I would love to sit and talk with you about and tell you. The kids are getting so big it's scary. I know I talk to you often and I miss you every day but today is a tough one. I know grandad will be looking after you. I love you both so much.
