Derek CharlesFORDPol wishes to thank all family and friends for their kind words of comfort and support during this very sad time and to those who attended Derek's funeral. Special thanks to the West End Jazz Band who accompanied Derek from his home, to the church and also played at the service. Thanks also to Will for honouring Derek with his rendition of "The Last Post," and to Sue Duffill for taking the service at Boulton St.Mary's. A big thank you to the staff at Co-operative Funeralcare, Allestree, especially to Tilly and Kathy for all their support in making the arrangements and for their attention to detail on the day. Donations are still being accepted for Derek's charity "Action for Pulmonary Fibrosis."
