GillianFORRESTERGill Forrester. It is announced with deepest sadness that Gillian Forrester, nee Mountford, aged 50 of Newcastle-under-Lyme passed away peacefully at home, on 13th March 2012 after suffering for so long with Motor Neurone Disease.
Motor Neurone Disease robs people of movement and speech. Gill for many, many months was also unable to move, drink, eat or swallow food. She was also unable to breathe without a respirator. With no cure, half die within 14 months of diagnosis. Gill, ever the fighter, battled the illness for nearly 48 months. One of Gill's last wishes was "Please don't forget me". Please remember my very brave and determined wife and best friend. XXXX
The MNDA wants to see a world free of Motor Neurone Disease and they fund research and provide support for those who are affected by it.
Please help to raise funds to conquer this Wretched Illness that took Gill away.
Missed so very much by her loving, dedicated husband John, mum Barbara, her family and friends at Aspire Housing.

Thinking of Gill. Gill made an impact on me even though I only knew her through work for a short time. An inspirational lady. Always kind and thinking of others despite everything.
