HarryFRANCISMr Harry Francis, of Olive House Nursing Home, Bacup, died suddenly on Saturday, June 12, aged 90 years. A short service will be held at the Chapel of Rest on Wednesday, June 23 at 11.30am, followed by cremation at Burnley at 12.15pm, conducted by Mr Peter Goulding. Born in Grieve Fold, Bacup, he lived in the Broadclough area of Bacup for many years, prior to moving to Olive House. Harry was employed at E Sutton & Co. all of his working life, where he met his late wife, Margaret. He enjoyed bowling, walking, socialising and discussing natural history, being a member of the Bacup Natural History Society (The Nat). He leaves his brother Jack, nieces Diane, Myrna, Pam, Janet and Sandra and their partners, brother-in-law Donald, great-nieces and nephews and many friends.
