Alfred GeorgeGAMBLENPassed away peacefully at home on 28th May 2025, aged 91 years, with his loving wife Joy by his side. Proud father of the late Stephen and Anthony, dear father-in-law of Yvonne and Jenny, loving grandad, great grandad, brother, brother-in-law, uncle and friend to many. George will be so greatly missed by all who knew him. Funeral Thursday 26th June, service 12.30pm at Markeaton Crematorium, Main Chapel.

Had the pleasure of knowing George as attend the renal unit with my daughter Lauren, he gave me some valuable gardening advice and fruit off his trees, always asked how Lauren was and myself, thoughts with family and friends of your loss, Nick, Lauren norgates farther.

Pleasure to have known George over the last two years attending renal unit with my daughter Lauren, he gave me some valuable gardening tips and shared his fruits from his trees, always had a laugh and asked how Lauren was doing, sad loss and thinking of family and friends, bless you George, Nick, Lauren norgates farther .
