His mission in Kingston, Jamaica was a God send to so many of us. His Christianity was a living reality within Him. What he spoke about Christ was reality in him— he spoke about a Christ he knew and lived within.
We wanted to know the Christ that he knew—much like the case of Ruth and Naomi.
His life experiences became to him (like John’s approach to miracles in his gospel of Christ) sign’s to him of the reality of Jesus’ divinity.
May his reward in heaven bring him great joy— May God’s blessings be a legacy of great value to his descendants— May they too know the God Rev. Gard served with great delight— even as many of us here in Jamaica of my generation, came to be inspired by his life and witness among us.
