AlanGARFORTHPassed away peacefully on 14th January aged 84 years.

Beloved husband of the late Valerie June and loving father of Roger and Jacqueline and grandfather to Sam, Abi and Ben. Much loved and sadly missed by family and friends.

Funeral service to take place on 8th February at 1:00 pm in St Oswald's Church, Bollington. Relatives and friends wishing to attend kindly meet for the service.

Family flowers only please but donations in memory of Alan, if desired, can be given to the Lewy Body Society or the RNLI.

Alan will always have a special place in my heart. Our friendship was built over many visits to the Pharmacy to visit his much loved Jacqueline. Always smiling, often giggling and asking each time about the kids and how they were doing and each visit was finished with a big hug. Sad to say goodbye but happy he’s at peace and back in the arms of his beloved Valerie x
