DavidGARRATTY (CARATS)Suddenly on 17th March 2019, David aged 52 years of Clayton-le-Moors. The devoted and much loved fiancé of Nicola, loving dad of Megan, Rowan, Sam, Tamzin, much loved son of Sheila and the late Bill, a dear brother, grandad, relative and friend to many. David loved his work as a support worker at the Autistic Society in Gt Harwood. Bass player of the Inciders, David loved playing with the group all over the north-west and had a collection of guitars. Nicola was his groupie and the family enjoyed nights out going to watch him. A talented musician, David loved his music and was well-known with lots of friends. A lover of the great outdoors, David liked walking with his son Rowan in the countryside and especially up Pendle Hill. He was also a former boxing coach at Clayton ABC, where he won many medals. It was a hobby he started when he was young and continued into adulthood. Above all, David was a devoted family man. Family flowers only. went to st christophers school in 1979 for one year with david then never saw him again until about 1982/1984.in ewood blackburn .he recognised me and shouted my name i stopped and said oright .that was the last time i saw and spoke to him.i recently found him facebook but never got around sending him a friend request. In all them years that went by i never forgot about him.rip fella .........alan
