William StanleyGASHSadly passed away on 27th April 2026 aged 88 years.

Reunited with his dear and devoted Wife Joan and loved ones. Gone but not forgotten.

No flowers please, but donations would be gratefully received in memory of Stan for the Dogs Trust.

Funeral service will be held on Tuesday 26th May at 3pm in the small chapel Chanterlands Crematorium.

Always with a smile on his face and walking his dog. Joan and Stan lived near us and would wave as we rode by on our bikes or would stop to chat whilst walking their dog. A lovely couple who had a positive impact on lots of children’s lives. RIP xxx

So very sorry to hear of Stan’s passing. We first got to know Joan and Stan in 1978 when we moved to Ganton Way. Had some good times when they used to join us for family birthday celebrations. We moved in 1994 but still kept in touch. At least they will be back together now. RIP Stan. John and Denise Lyon xx
