Barbara HopeGATESFormerly of Histon, sadly passed away on Tuesday 3rd May 2022, aged 99 years at the Cottenham Court Care Home. Loving wife of the late Leonard, wonderful mother to Trevor, mother in law to Pam, grandmother to James and Anthony, and special auntie. Will be sorely missed by all. Funeral service and committal to be held at the Cambridge City Crematorium East Chapel on Monday 20th June 2022 at 11.30am No flowers please. Donations if desired made payable to Cancer Research UK. May be left at the service or forwarded to Richard Stebbings Funeral Service Ltd, Kendal House, Cambridge Road, Impington, Cambridge, CB24 9YS Tel 01223 232309.

I only briefly knew Hope when taking part in a Letter Writing Project when I was 7 and Hope was 91. I still think about her, 11 years later. May she rest in peace, Phoebe
