Thanks also for the many cards of condolence, messages of sympathy, flowers and donations received at this sad time. Special thanks go to the Rev Paul McNally for his kind words and ministrations, St Paul's Church, The Palliative Care Team (the District Nurses and the East Lancashire Hospice), also to Lynne and Wendy for being my rock(s) and to Studio Retail for their support and understanding during Gerry's illness. And finally heartfelt thanks to Paul & Sarah Barton of Barton & Hallworth Funeral Service for giving Gerry the perfect send off, a truly first class, excellent service, that goes the extra mile and gives such personal attention to detail, we simply couldn't have asked for more
