MaureenGIBBSGIBBS - MAUREEN , June 24, 2018. aged 70. Maureen's devoted children, Louise, Caroline and Mathew were at her side throughout her final hours, together with her sister and brother, Mark and Joan. All of us took some comfort that at the end Maureen was at last free from the pain and suffering that cancer had inflicted on her for over two years. Maureen will live on in the hearts of her children and her loving family and friends. Her bravery in the face of a cruel disease was an inspiration to us all. She can now rejoin her beloved husband, Mike and together they can enjoy eternal peace. Maureen's funeral is on Thursday 12th July, 11.30am at Holy Name Church, 60 Beresford Road, Oxton, Birkenhead. CH 43 2JD. She will be laid to rest at 1pm at Landican Crematorium, Arrowe Park Rd, Birkenhead, CH49 5LW. Maureen received the best care that could ever be wished for at St John's Hospice, Clatterbridge, Wirral. Maureen and her family would like donations to be made to the Hospice rather than bringing or sending flowers.
