JackGIBNEYWin would like to express her sincere thanks to all neighbours, friends, colleagues and former pupils for their cards, letters of condolence, flowers and generous donations to Bowel Cancer Research. Jack would have been humbled but so proud. To Steve, Carole, Kerry, Shirley and Jim who were just such a wonderful support on the day as well as everyone who came to the funeral to show their love and respect for Jack, both inside and outside the crematorium. Thanks also to the wonderful care that Jack received from James Street Family Practice in Louth, Diana Princess of Wales Hospital, in particular the colorectal team, St Barnabas Hospice Home Care team, Macmillan Cancer Care and Bluebird Carers, who treated Jack with the greatest respect and made it possible for him to end his days at home, comfortable and surrounded by love and the things he cared for most. Thanks to Tony Jewitt for his insightful and comforting service which truly reflected Jack's amazing life. Finally, and by no means least, Tony and his wonderful staff of Alexander's Funeral Care for their professionalism, thoughtfulness and care taken with the funeral arrangements. Nothing was too much trouble.
