The obituary notice of Michael James GOODWIN

I only just found out that you passed, Mike.

I have made my own tribute to you in a way I know you, as an Artist, will understand and not resent me for.

I only knew you when we were still children but you truly were one of the good guys; I was cowardly in school life; on reflection you did things you needed to do even though you were scared. That's the definition of courage.

I learned that after school times you were a meticulous artist, and that doesn't surprise me. All the seeds of this greatness were in you when I met you probably age 13/14 or so.

I apologise greatly if this message upsets anyone after so many years after Mike's passing - I only just found out about it, and just want to show my love for someone who meant a great deal to me in my formative years. I couldn't come across this obituary without leaving my respects.

Rest easy, Mike.

To Janet and Mike and family. You are in our thoughts with much love having just learned of your tragic loss. I know we cannot begin to understand your grief at this time but you are all in our thoughts xx
