David AlbertGOREPassed away after a sudden, short illness, at Princess Alexandra Hospital, Harlow, Essex, on May 11, 2008. A wonderful father to Beverley, Janet and Tom and a great role model to his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Also much missed by his partner Wendy and sister and brothers Myra, Ken, John, Brian and Roger. The funeral took place on May 21, 2008 at St Margaret's Church, and Llwydcoed Crematorium. The family were joined at the Cynon Valley Bowls Centre following the services, for refreshments. Thank you to all for attending the funeral, for all cards, wishes and generous donations to Cancer Research/(Macmillan Nurses, which totalled £290. Thanks also to Dale and Geraint for their sensitivity, advice and doing what they do so well. Finally, the Rev. Malcolm Chiplin officiated - thank you for smoothing our path with your kind words.
