RitaGOWLANDIt is with great sadness that the family of Rita Gowland announces her passing, after a long illness bravely borne, on Wednesday 9th July 2025.
Rita, dearly loved wife of the late Les, proud mam of Sian and Sarah, loving mother in law to Craig and Paul, proud Grandma of Richard, Sam, Emma, and Grand puppies Chewbacca and Ralph.
Rita will take her final journey on Tuesday 5th August 2025 from outside our first family home, up past their bungalow on Brodorion Drive, prior to making her way down past Ael Y Bryn Care Home. A service of celebration will be held at the Calon Lan Centre, Llangyfelach at 12:45pm, followed by burial at Kingsbridge Cemetery at 2:15pm where she will be laid to rest where her parents and brother are resting. The family warmly invite you to join them at the Welcome Inn, Llangyfelach Road after the service for light refreshments.
Family flowers only please by request, donations in lieu if so desired, can be made in memory to Cancer Research UK and Parkinson's UK via funeral-notices.
