John GilbertGRAHAM(Hexham, formerly Hexhamshire) Peacefully after a short illness on 7th December 2020 aged 90 years. Dearly loved husband for sixty two years of Annie Elizabeth (Nancy). He was adored by his daughters Helen and Anthea, his son-in-law John, grandsons Graham and Philip and their fiancees Hannah and Rachel, a loving pops to great-granddaughter Lily. John was a true countryman, lover of sport, a stalwart at Hexham Auction Mart, he was known as " Farmer John " to his trials family, a well respected marker at motor cycle trials in the four northern counties and the national trial at Kinlochleven each year. The funeral cortege will circle Hexham Auction Mart at 9.55am on Wednesday 16th December for anyone wishing to pay their respects. A private cremation will follow.
