Peacefully in St Bede's Hospice on Sunday 7th January 2024, aged 47 years, after a long illness bravely borne.

Beloved daughter of Linda, treasured mam of Charlotte & Harriet. Much loved sister to Michaela, Darren & Karen, sister in law to Annette, adored aunt to Jack, Charlie & Jacob and special friend to Carole. Denise will be greatly missed by all of her family & friends. In her honour could everyone wear something lilac or purple. Family flowers only donations in aid of St Bede's Hospice or Macmillan Cancer Research. Please meet for service at Mountsett Crematorium, Dipton, on Tuesday 16th January at 11.45am. All invited to Blaydon Rugby Club after the service.

it is so sad that I am ten writing this about my own mother she died when I was 8on the 7th of January 2024 and was so upset I didn't cry because we had a flight on that day so I had to think about all that stuff but every night since then i would cry myself to sleep because of what happened.
