Dorothy JeanGREGORYKnown as Jean of Whatstandwell, passed away after a short illness on 26th February 2026 aged 77 years.

Beloved sister of Margaret and John, loved auntie of Daniel and Kelly, great aunt of Lottie. Much loved and missed by her family and friends.

Service to be held at St. Mary's Church, Crich, on Friday 20th March 2026 at 11:00 a.m. followed by burial in Crich Burial Ground.

Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu may be given for The Children's Society.

It was with great sadness that Linda and I heard of Jean's passing.
Our thoughts are with Margaret and John and family.
During and since Covid we have had many conversations with Jean whilst walking in Whatstandwell. Jean will always be remembered as quiet, loving with a strong will.
We are sorry that we can’t be with you for the funeral service but we will be thinking of you all.

One of the kindest people I have met, you always had a thought for everyone else. The children loved spending time with you and Maeve when they came to Kelly’s. You will be sadly missed. Lots of love Tom, Chantelle, Theo, Hunter and Luca xx

Jean had one of the kindest souls , and was one of the nicest people you could wish to meet, she would do anything for her family and those close to her , she always had a smile on her face , I hope you are in great comfort and peace in heaven Jean , you will be so greatly missed , rip ❤️ love from me Ivy and Cole
