CledwynGRIFFINSadly on Saturday 7th August 2021 at Cwm Cartref Care Home aged 89 years. Cledwyn of Rhiw Las, Neath. Beloved husband of the late Sylvia, devoted father of Elaine, Ian and Gaynor, a loving gramps of Emma, Sarah, Daniel, Ciaran and Chloe and great gramps of Hayley. Cledwyn will be sadly missed by Christine, Donna and all who knew him. Service at Neath Funeral Home, Cadoxton on Monday 23rd August at 2pm followed by a private interment. The Bryncoch Environment Group and the Dyffryn Clydach and Bryncoch Historical Society both wish to record their sadness on learning of Cledwyn Griffin’s death. Cled set up both these Societies’s websites and their Facebook groups. His expert guidance provided us with the means to function online, something which assumed great significance due to the Covid pandemic. Cled was also the editor of the Neath Guardian Online and in that role kept an astute eye over the local scene for many years, having a significant impact on information sharing in his community. We send his family our sincere condolences on their loss.
