Peacefully at rest on Sunday 2nd November 2025 at the Royal Stoke University Hospital, surrounded by family. John, aged 100 years, of The Westlands, Newcastle, the dearly loved and devoted husband of May, the much loved and treasured Dad of Eleanor, also a dearly loved Taid (Grandad) to Seirian. John will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by all his loving family and many friends.

Funeral service and commendation to take place at St. Andrew's Church, The Westlands on Friday 13th March 2026 at 12.30pm. Would friends wishing to attend kindly meet at the Church. A further service and committal will take place at Tal-y-Bont Chapel, Conway Road, Conwy, LL32 8SF on Saturday 14th March 2026 at 2.00pm prior to interment in the Churchyard.
