Husband of the late, much-missed Beth, loving Dad of Elizabeth, Helen and Edward, a special father-in-law, adored Grandad Griff and extremely proud Great-Grandad.
Funeral to be held on Wednesday 8 April at 11am at Grenoside Crematorium North Chapel.
Family flowers only but donations in lieu would be appreciated for the Forget Me Not Children's Hospice. A box for this purpose will be available at the service.
We are celebrating a life well lived so, at John's request, please wear what you'd wear to the Yorkshire Show. "No black, no misery and have a bloody good do!"
