Specific thanks go to Dr Susan Exon and all at Phoenix Family Care, Professor Christopher Poole and team in the Oncology Department, University Hospital; Coventry Community, Macmillan and palliative care nurses, Staff and volunteers at Coventry Myton Hospice, Muriel's great friends at Jubilee Wives and Coventry Soroptimists; wonderfully supportive neighbours Alec and Joyce, and the many friends of Muriel and her family, too numerous to list. Especial thanks and gratitude is vouchsafed by us to Reverend Canon Kathryn Fleming and her caring and exceptional team at Coventry Cathedral and to Darren and Karen Lloyd and staff at AJ Lloyd Funeral Directors who, displaying exemplary professionalism, combined with the cathedral on the day to engineer a perfectly choreographed masterpiece of Christian love and dignified respect, a fitting epitaph and memorial to a life well lived in the service of others.
