PeterGRINDEYJulie, Mhari, Milan and Lara would like to express their heartfelt thanks to all relatives, friends, employees and clients for the support and donations at this difficult time due to the loss of Peter. Peter was an exceptional husband, dad, brother, brother in law, uncle and son in law, who was always positive in all he did, even in his illness, he did not complain through some very difficult treatment, he also kept busy working from home even after treatment. Running the business kept his mind active to the last. He will be deeply missed. The donations so far are £3,085 and still increasing the donations are to The Christie Hospital who are fund raising for constant research and many other causes also a new Christie Hospital in Macclesfield. The family would also like to thank Moorland Medical Practice in Leek, North Staffs Hospital Haematology and the staff who gave treatment. The Christie teams for each area to try to find a way to cure Peter, but to no avail because sometimes cancer keeps coming back. We would like to thank Rev Nigel Irons the vicar at St Edwards; John Thurstan for reading at the church at the funeral. Paul, Michael and the rest of the team at S. Sigley and Sons Leek for the care, support and for carrying out the funeral so professionally. We also want to thank Iona for the flowers produced perfectly as requested.
