Well what can I say about my uncle Bob, he was someone I was petrified of as a small child!!. Every frequent family gathering, it was all off to Nanas & Granddads which was always a happy event. Their small home filled to the brim with family, it was always so much fun.
However there was also some apprehension as uncle Bob & his false teeth would be also present. I have many memories of being picked up & hugged with great affection only to be lulled into a false sense of security when his false teeth would drop down my back. This this was always greeted with great amusement to my family especially uncle Bob, luckily I wasn’t scarred for life.
Also I remember many happy visits to their home where we shared many fun times as a family. There was always an amazing abundance of sweet treats especially his raspberry pavlova, he could have been a pastry chef.
Seriously my uncle Bob was a true sweetheart & forever a gentleman. He was always the life & soul of the family. I’m sure where ever he is he’ll be smiling, demonstrating his love & mischief as always to all.
Thanks for all the amazing memories.
Sending love and hugs to all
