Janet MaryGUYPassed away peacefully at the Royal Derby Hospital on Tuesday 5th August 2025, aged 81 years.
Beloved wife to the late Sidney, a much loved aunt to Mark.
Janet was a retired teacher at Derby High School and a valued, long standing member of St Peters Church, Littleover.
Her dedication to her pupils, her church and her community will be remembered fondly by all who knew her.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday 2nd September at 1.30pm St Peters Church, Littleover followed by a committal service at Markeaton Crematorium (Round Chapel).
Family flowers only please, however donations in Janets memory may be given at the service these will go onto support charitable causes that were close to her heart.
Janets kindness touched many lives, she has been honoured with the Order of St John for the precious gift of donating her sight, helping others to see the world she loved so much
