Mary FrancesHAIGHTON 'FRANNY'Peacefully in hospital surrounded by her loving family on 7th March 2019, Fortified by the Rites of the Holy Mother Church, Franny aged 85 years of Clayton-le-Moors. The devoted wife of the late Bernard, much loved mum of Sharon, Bernie, Paul and William, and a dear mother-in-law of Ian, Pete, Jeanette and also a cherished grandma and great grandma. After leaving school, Franny worked as a weaver and later as a carer at Woodlands HFE. An avid caravaner, Franny had a static caravan in Harrogate at High Moor Park Farm where she spent many a happy and relaxing weekend. She was a keen dog lover and enjoyed taking her dogs our with her husband for drives in the car around the Ribble Valley and spoiling them A devoted grandma, Franny loved to spend time with her grandchildren. She was also a lifelong member of St Mary's RC Church. Franny's funeral service will take place at St Mary's RC Church, Clayton le Moors on Wednesday 20th March 2019 at 10.30am followed by interment at Dill Hall Cemetery. Flowers are requested.
