I'm a member of the public who loved your TV work, esp. in the 70s & 80s. This evening I just typed your name into the browser for no particular reason and saw that you had passed. What a shock, very sad about it.

I loved the languorous way of speaking that you had, together with that fabulous haughtiness.

Richard Littlejohn mentioned your name over the years in his column, and I've never forgotten you as an actress.

See ya,

Darling Georgie.
A dear and trusted friend, we met in Mombassa Kenya, and became the best of friends, Georgie spent a lot of time at my home in London, and I at her home in St John's wood.
We laughed, cried, and talked at length about the orphanage in Luxor...
I cannot believe this beautiful soul has left us, and pray we meet again .
Rest in peace darling George.

Cannot believe this tradgedy my friend Ziggy spoke to her before she flew to Luxor where she went every christmas time to visit the Orphanage of which she was a great supporter. She was meant to fly back on the 4th January. It seems she was in a supermarket on this day fainted and hit her head when she fell and did not recover. She is an Angel now George you will definitely get your Wings in Heaven
