GlennisHALSHAWMrs Glennis Halshaw, of Waterside Terrace, Bacup, died in the Royal Blackburn hospital on Sunday, May 1, aged 83. A service will be held in the Chapel of Rest on Tuesday, May 17 at 1.30pm, followed by interment in Bacup Cemetery at 2.15pm, conducted by Miss Gemma Rooke. Born in Britannia, she lived all of her life in Bacup. She spent almost all of her working life at E Sutton & Co. Ltd, Bacup and also for a time at Relay Vision, Bacup. Glennis enjoyed holidays in Benidorm, shopping and watching Emmerdale and most of the other soaps on television. Widow of the late Keith who died in 2011, she leaves sons Mark, David and his wife Michelle, grandsons Davis and Luke, sisters Bernice and Janice, brother-in-law David, nephews, nieces and many friends. Family flowers only, with donations to the Britannia Coconutters if so desired, via the funeral director Anthony Johnson Funeral Services Ltd, Bacup.
