StuartHALSTEADMr Stuart Halstead, of The Square, Waddington, formerly of Haslingden, died at home on Thursday, June 2, aged 57. Stuart was the Director of Premier Transport Haslingden. He loved pool and football, and was the former manager of Rossendale Valley Football Team. He played pool at Waddington Social Club, and was an avid Blackburn Rovers fan. Son of the late Harry and Dorothy, and brother of the late Andrew, he leaves three sons, Dorron, Jack, and Sam, wife Shauna, grandchildren Daisy and Noah and nephews Dennis and Michael. The funeral will take place on Monday, June 20, at 10.45am at St James Church, Haslingden followed by interment at St Helen’s, Waddington, at 12.15pm, led by Father David Stephenson. Family flowers only please, with donations if desired to Rossendale Hospice. Donations can be made online at www.fredhamer. co.uk (tributes and donations).
