Grandad,

Thank you for the great memories growing up, spending time with us playing football down Palmers Rough field, swimming at Tudor Grange baths, enjoying special holidays in Sa Coma Mallorca and Gran Canaria.

Grandad was certainly a character, he always knew how to make you smile and entertain a room.  From talking as Donald Duck to playing the Harmonica which was always special to listen too.

Grandad was a very smart looking guy, always dressed well, if he wasn't wearing his classic army beret hat, he would still have a nice combed head of hair and well groomed moustache.

We was always proud walking with Grandad to the shops to get his paper, put a bet on the horse racing and pick up some werther's original (or other well known classics).

Grandad liked his Greens... he loved a salad (lots of salt), especially radishes and celery which were some of his favourites.

Maybe this was one of the secrets to a long and wonderful life making it to the grand old age of 95 yrs but also having an amazing wife (our Nan Joan), lots of friends and a caring family to support him along the way.

Grandad you showed so much love to everyone and touched the hearts of those who were lucky enough to meet you,  especially our Mom (Lyndy Loo as you would call her) who always spoke about you with great dignity and said what a special dad you was.

I know you will both be having a cuppa together in heaven talking about it all.

Rest Easy and Hurry Slowly...

Until we meet again x
