Passed away peacefully in hospital on 12th August 2026 aged 75 Years.

Mick, Devoted and loving husband of Florence. Treasured and amazing Dad of Michael and Christine. Proud and Cherished Grandad of Murray, Jonathan and Joseph. Dear Brother of Jimmy, Margaret, Pearl and Eva.

He was kind, Caring, Funny and always there for people he loved. His warmth, laughter and sense of humour brought so much happiness to those around him. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Please meet for funeral service at Tynemouth Crematorium Chapel on Monday 24th August 2026 at 10:30am.

Family flowers only please. Donations if so desired to the Limbless Association.

What an amazing Dad, Grandad and Father-in-law you were.
It still doesn’t feel real that you’re no longer here.
We were all so incredibly lucky to have you in our lives. The fun, the laughs and time spent together creating all the wonderful memories we have.
You were such a fighter and an inspiration.

Some people touch our hearts forever, by bringing laughter and light in to it, with their bright spirit and humour and obvious warmth and and caring ways, Mick was one of those people.
You can see why therefore, he was loved so deeply by Florence and the rest of the family, life was so much brighter and better with him in it.
God Bless and keep you close Mick, your life was a blessing, your memory a treasure for us all to keep.
