At home, and with her four children by her side, our precious, cherished and beautiful Mum, Grandma, Great-Grandma and Great-Great-Grandma left us to be safe in the arms of Jesus on Tuesday 14th October 2025, aged 99 years. Wife to William Albert; deeply loved Mother of Pauline, Susan, Granville and Jane; Mother-in-law to Dave, John B, John M and Susana; treasured Grandma to Mark and Karen, Sarah and Rebecca, Genevieve, David, Sonja, Rory and Eleanor (NZ), Aaron, James and Bethany; beloved Great-Grandma to Samuel, Megan and Bethan, Basil, Scarlett and Rosie (NZ), Marlo and Quinn (NZ), Phoebe, Alexa and Charlotte (NZ), Blake, Evie, Hunter-Joe and Eden (NZ), Eleanor and Charlotte, Conor and Logan (Bermuda), and Rosie and Holly, and Great-Great-Grandma to Louie, Charlie and Brodie. Dearest Sister to Helen, Graham and Sister-in-law to Diane. For Mum, her steadfast and deep Christian faith underpinned and shaped her life and direction within her family and the community. As a young wife and mother she held many positions within the Wesleyan Chapel at Mow Cop and then at New Life Church, Congleton. When her health began to deteriorate she volunteered at Daven Primary School and helped children with their reading. Mum lived to serve and help others. Latterly she attended Wellspring Methodist Church near her home in Congleton. Mum touched the lives of so many people as a friend, supporter, advisor and confidant and her contribution to this world and the loss now felt by her family especially is beyond measure. The funeral service will be held at Wellspring Methodist Church, Congleton, on Monday, 17th November at 1pm followed by a committal service at Bradwell Crematorium. The service will be available via this link for anyone that is unable to attend: www.youtube.com/live/xk0rOe9bvLo?si=gR-_Uuqhs0j6ZmVA Family flowers only. Donations in lieu of flowers: Alzheimer's and/or Motor Neurone Disease.
