No-one could have had a better Mother-in-Law than I did. A lovely personality and a kind heart. She lit up the day with her smile and was a source of great wisdom and sensibility. Never one to hold a grudge, she saw good in all people. She will long be remembered by me and all her friends and relatives. I am always comforted by her memory. It is said that someone never actually dies. Yes, their physical presence has left this world but whenever someone thinks of them, they are there in that moment. Rest in peace Mum. God bless and keep you.

It's hard to know where to start.........Auntie Betty was a big part of my life growing up and I spent many a school summer holiday in Walmsley Road and have such fond memories of those stays. It was only on a relatively recent visit she told me I spent my very first Christmas with her. I had no idea. Those summer visits always included Rona, a trip to the cinema and without fail a trip around the corner to visit her Dad .... while she cleaned the grate, my duties were to clean his boots while he was still wearing them!.....and all for two bob!... I thought I had won the pools! 60 years on, some of those memories are as clear as day. I still have the round leather change 'purse' with St Christopher on it she insisted I have that we bought down the town as my 'pocket money' was always falling out my pockets! The kindness and care she always showed me even up to my last visit will never be forgotten.

With fond memories of a very dear Aunt.
I will always carry with me the special times spent with her during the school summer holidays as a child.
Her kindness will never be forgotten.

In fondest memory of a woman of great kindness, character and fortitude. She faced up to a long, sometimes challenging life with strength and vigour. She touched the hearts of all who knew her and enriched their lives with her presence. I will always remember her with delight. She will never fade from my memory and I look forward to seeing her again whenever and wherever that will be
