RonaldHAPPSThe family of the late Mr R E Happs of Stryd y Brython, Ruthin, wish to extend thanks to Wards 7 & 18 at Glan Clwyd Hospital who were so professional and caring towards Ron, and achieved a good outcome for him, also the Cancer Care team at Glan Clwyd were also so positive and compassionate. Dr Chatterjee and Dr Mitra of "Care of the Elderly" at both Glan Clwyd and Denbigh Hospitals showed exemplary care of Ron, as did the wonderful staff on the Male Ward (Famau) at Denbigh Infirmary. A sincere thank you to Rev. Stuart Evans of Ruthin Parish who conducted such dignified and sensitive services for Ron. We extend a similar thanks to the organist David Smart and all employees of R W Roberts & Son of Denbigh, and JOS Solicitors of St. Asaph, whose understanding, guidance & empathy was very appreciated by the family at such a difficult time. A sincere thank you to the British Legion representatives, (especially British Legion, Ruthin) who supported Ron at both services in Llanrhydd and Rhewl. Also the Officers and Guardsmen of The Grenadier Guards Association, NE Branch. We appreciate all the detailed work & kindness & care put into the gathering (after the funeral at St. Meugan's) by Haf, Anna & Robert Jones & family at 'The Vale Country Club' Ruthin, also Huw who made a tribute exhibition of Ron's life, (after the Funeral) & 'stepped in' to shoulder responsibilities not taken by members of Ron's close family. Also a huge thank you to Dr. David Stephenson for constant support of family & friends. The family at No.8 appreciate the sincere condolences & compassion & support shown to them at this difficult time by their family in Denbigh, The Vale of Clwyd, Liverpool, Lincoln, New York & Texas. A huge "diolch yn fawr" to Ron's wonderful neighbours at Stryd Y Brython, who are so kind & caring at a time of extreme difficulty. The wonderful sum of £650 was collected in Ron's memory. This is to be split between "Help for Heroes" and to purchase equipment to support the wonderful work done by Denbigh Infirmary. Nadolig Llawen & Best Wishes for 2020 from the family at No.8.
