GaryHARDMANMr Gary Hardman, of Haslingden, passed away peacefully after a short illness on Tuesday, March 1, aged 60, in Royal Blackburn Hospital. A well-known cricket umpire for Enfield Cricket Club who only retired last season to spend more time with his family. He leaves behind his loving wife Alison, sons Christopher and Jack, daughter Caroline, ten grandchildren who will all miss him dearly, his two brothers Derek and Alfie, along with sister Wendy. Gary loved gardening and collecting garden gnomes. He liked to keep fit and ran quite a few half marathons. The funeral service and committal will take place on Thursday, March 17, at 9.40am at Accrington Crematorium. Family flowers only, with donations if desired to Action Pulmonary Fibrosis c/o funeral director Caroline Holden-Dewhurst for Johnson, Durning & Woods, Haslingden.
