HASLAM DR CHRISTOPHER GLYN TREVORJuly 28 2013 Glyn to his friends and family, died suddenly on Sunday 28th July, 2013 in Leighton Hospital, Crewe, Cheshire after a short period of illness. Glyn was a retired radio astronomer whose enthusiasm for his many projects found him friends around the world. He will be sadly missed, Glyn was a beloved husband to Elaine and is survived by his sister Dr Diana Thurston and her family: children Nicola, Fiona and David, grandchildren Sam, Molly, Callum and Katrin. His funeral will take place at St Marys Church, Wistaston, Crewe, Cheshire on Saturday 17th August, 2013 at 12 noon with a celebration afterwards at The Woodside Public House, Valley Road, Crewe. Any donations in lieu of ?owers gratefully received, will be used to bene?t students of astonomy.
