JoanHAWKENPassed away peacefully on 3rd December 2025, aged 101 years.

Much loved Mother of Jane, Susan & Rachel and cherished Grandmother & Great Grandmother.
She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Private family cremation followed by a Celebration of Joan's life, where family and friends are welcome.
Norton Down Church at 2.00pm on Monday 22nd December.
Joan's request "Wear what you feel comfortable in".

Family flowers only, donations if wished for Macular Society and Norton Down Church may be left at the Church or sent to the Funeral Directors.

Thinking of you all at this sad time.
I want to say that I know Mum really appreciated Auntie Joan’s friendship over so many years, starting when they met through nursing and continuing until Mum(Molly/Ricky) died in 2016 also at 101 years of age. They both overcame losing someone close to them too early but had the strength to carry on, build themselves new lives while still making sure we were their main priority. They enjoyed similar interests through sewing, had holidays in Cornwall which I know Mum enjoyed and on reflection it must be this strength of character they had that ensured they lived so long.
