JohnHAYNES(of Doncaster, formerly of Whickham and Hebburn) Dearly loved husband of Catherine, devoted dad of Joanne and Michael, much loved father-in-law of Paul and Rachel, dear brother of Iris and son of the late John and Minnie. Passed away peacefully on 2nd September 2022 aged 78 years. Would family and friends please meet at Rotherham Crematorium on Tuesday 20th September at 3.30pm for a humanist celebration of his life. All welcome afterwards at Hellaby Hall Hotel. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu to the British Heart Foundation and Cancer Research UK may be sent c/o Jeremy Neal Funeral Directors, 17-19 Morrell St, Maltby, S66 7LL.

John, you were my Boss for a period of time, but more than that you were a friend and a lovely person. I will miss our conversations and memories of football and especially our friendly banter about our favourite teams, you - Newcastle United and me - Leicester City.
