Our lives were graced with Rob for the last couple of years, when he visited our shop. That initial visit was to be one of many and by the end of that very first hour Rob had stepped over the customer boundary and into our friends circle, feeling like he had always been in our lives and that we had known him for many years rather than the reality that was minuets.
By Rob’s own admission, we were his safe and happy place, the biggest compliment anyone could ever make. Rob would walk in and you could see his shoulders drop and quickly that smile on his face would be there again. Rob just oozed love and compassion often talking about Charlie with pride and how he had an amazing circle of friends. Our friendship with Rob consisted of laughs, hugs drinking coffee and chats about totally random but interesting stuff. Rob’s ability to light up the room was amazing. It was near impossible to be sad or grumpy in his presence.
Rob, thank you for walking into our lives and sharing your life with ours, it’s so hard to believe we won’t see your smile or hear you laugh again but you will always be with us in our memories, the impression you made is deep.
