JohnHAYWOODAt rest on Sunday 3rd August 2025, whilst in the care of the Royal Stoke University Hospital, surrounded by his loving family, John, aged 87 years, of Blurton.
The devoted husband of 60 years to his beloved late wife Maureen, and an adoring Dad to Susan and Nathyn, dear father-in-law to Ian and Alison, much loved brother to Cynthia and Michael, devoted uncle to Rebecca, Stephen, Ruth and Jayde, and proud Grandad to Amelia.
John, a former steam locomotive fireman and lifelong BT engineer, will be sadly missed but never forgotten by all his loving family and friends.
Funeral service to take place at St Bartholomew's Church, Blurton, on Thursday 21st August at 10.00am, prior to interment at Fenton Cemetery.
Family flowers only please, by request, and any kind donations in memory of John to the Cats Protection.
